Continuing with the reviews on the affordable products, we're going to take a look at the Coastal Scents 252 Ultimate Palette. I wanted to give you guys my thoughts on this palette because it offers so many eyeshadows at a really great price. But of course we want to know, is it worth it and how are the quality of the eyeshadows.
If you guys don't already know, this palette offers 252 eyeshadow colors in a variety of mattes and shimmers. The color range from neutrals to neons.
I want to start of by saying I
was very pleasantly surprised by this palette. It definitely exceeded my expectations quality wise. I expected the colors to not have very good payoff/pigmentation. After swatching the colors and wearing them several times, the pigmentation was much better than expected and they showed up and stayed great with a primer on my eyes.
The texture of the mattes can be a little powdery but I don't mind this because this means there's plenty of color to work with and because I didn't break the bank buying this palette. The shimmers had a less powdery texture than the mattes and come of quite vibrant. They are a little difficult to blend at times because they can be kinda streaky (as you can see in the swatches!).
Overall I think this palette is well worth the money. This is great for anyone just getting into makeup because it offers all the colors and textures you could imagine for a very affordable price. I also did a review on the BH Take me to Rio Palette and find the 252 Palette to have better quality eyeshadows and offer very similar shades to that palette as well.

(Here are a few of the shades swatched on my arm. You can kinda see the powdery-ness I'm talking about. But overall pretty vibrant and good for the price!)
