August Favorites!

Yes I know this is late but hey I haven't been wearing much makeup this month so far so I'm reflecting back to August (well actually the whole summer!) for what my fav products have been recently!



1. Josie Maran Argan Illuminizer
This has been perfect for the summer because it's a liquid luminizer (perfect for that summer glow) but it's made with Argan Oil making it healthy! Say what?! Healthy makeup?! Almost as crazy as low-cal brownies but better in my opinion! Gives you that perfect dewy look even if you already have oily skin like me.  I apply this on my cheeks and then take any remaining product and spread over the rest of my face and collarbone.

2. Maybelline Gel Eyeliner
Love this stuff and recently repurchased it since I had been out for quite some time.  Forgot how much I love it!!! What makes it great is that it can be sheer and not look too black or overdone for the daytime but you can really build it at night for a nice matte black liner.  I like the fact that this is not overly creamy because it doesn't have any transfer to my eyelid after I've spent way too much time blending my eyeshadow (#blendthatshit !).  If any of my Harrah's ladies are reading this, this is what I've recommended to you guys before!

3. Smith's Strawberry Lip Balm
I'm actually not much of a lipstick/lipgloss person because it's too high maintenance for me (or maybe I'm just too lazy....??).  Lipstick either wears off right away (because I drink so much water) or I'm constantly checking the mirror to make sure it hasn't traveled away from my lips! And lipgloss.....well that's a love-hate relationship.  Love lipgloss in general but can't stand my hair sticking to my lips!!! Anyways that's why I'm more of a "balm" girl and that's why I love this stuff.  Smells nice, isn't sticky, moisturizes, and manages to give me that natural nude lip because after all it is my natural lip color!

4. Crystal Light Wild Strawberry
If any of you know me you know that I am addicted to this stuff and this stuff should be permanently added to my list of favorites.  The addiction is real because this stuff has more caffeine than soda....oops (it's ok because I don't drink coffee, right?).

5. Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation
This is another permanent favorite of mine.  The clay does a great job absorbing oil and keeping you matte during the day yet somehow the coverage manages to look natural and flawless.  I'm running low though and will be repurchasing this as soon as it runs up, possibly in another shade now that their selection has expanded.  If anyone out there is on the hunt for a new foundation give this a try! Sample it at Sephora and I bet you'll love it.
